Healthy habits lead to a healthy mind and are the easiest way to lose weight. You need to keep a tab on your eating habit and your lifestyle to lose fat and burn calories.
Mini meals:
Instead of eating three meals of medium size per day, you should stick to eating five smaller meals. You should always eat breakfast within an hour of rising. This is because your metabolism slows down during the night and breakfast kick starts the process of metabolism again. When you skip breakfast, hunger sets in and this actually slows the rate of metabolism. The facts about fat burning are not to eat less, but eat small meals frequently. This prevents you from feeling hungry throughout the day. If you eat fiber and proteins and drinking enough water, you will feel full for longer period of time and will not have the urge to snack more often.
Eat early:
The thumb rule is not to eat 3 hours within your bedtime. So if you go to sleep at 11pm eat at 8 pm. Your food will not digest properly if you have dinner late. This causes stomach cramps and morning gas. When you bloat it is due to gas and food particles that are left over due to improper digestion. If you are tempted to eat snacks late in the night eat something healthy like a fruit.
Emotional eating harms:
To stop emotional eating is not easy. When you are depressed, stressed and lack emotional support from friends and family you may resort to eating to cover your emotions. Emotional eating causes to eat between meals and especially when you are not hungry. Sometimes you may feel you are hungry but you are actually lonely and you need to fill the void. A stress and depression result in an increase in the production of hormone cortisol and this adds more fat on your tummy. Seek help from a professional or friends and family. Stress and flabby stomach go hand in hand.
Cut Sodium:
Sodium causes you to bloat up and make your tummy look flabby. Sodium is used to preserve food so most of the manufacturers use it. Canned foods have sodium thus avoid them.
Analyze and eat:
Think before you grab food, watch your eating habits. Eat breakfast within an hour of rising, keep snacking between meals and eat healthy snacks. Instead of eating a plain apple, add a teaspoon of peanut butter to add some proteins to it.

Eggs:
Eggs are high in proteins and help you burn unwanted belly fat. Couple of eggs will put you above the daily amount of cholesterol needed. You can remove the yolk and still benefit from the high amount of proteins in the egg. Egg white sandwich is a great meal. Egg has vitamin B12 an effective supplement to break down fat cells.
Choose low fat dairy products and beans:
If you consume milk and dairy products daily then switch to low or no fat variety.
Beans are associated with a good source of fiber, iron and protein. Be sure to cook beans as our digestive tracks do not adapt t breaking down of some proteins in certain beans.
